Why we built Sen.

We worked in creative industries, tech, product, startups. Over time we kept noticing the same problems surfacing again and again. Misalignment used to mean an awkward meeting, but now it means burned budgets and broken teams and founders waking up at 3am wondering where it all went wrong. Teams can move faster than their decisions can. That's the problem we kept coming back to.

We wanted to build something that stops this cycle. The idea was to structure what happens before execution. It's the part everyone skips, the part where decisions actually get made.

We wanted to stop watching people absorb costs that weren't theirs to absorb. We wanted experts to spend their days creating instead of mediating. We wanted teams to stop falling apart over things that no one could later trace. And we wanted founders to feel like they have agency again and not through another dashboard full of noise. We wanted them to see the decisions their teams are making and whether those decisions actually add up in the direction they see their company going.

Sen does cut costs and revision rounds. It does manage scope creep, and clarifies feedback and conflict. All of that is true. But it also brings back decision ownership and accountability, centered around human decisions, with AI as only a facilitator. Sen never makes a decision for you.

We soon realized that it could show you your progress as you go instead of waiting for metrics after the project ships. You can see it in the moment: you avoided ten hours of rework because you caught it before it happened. You got clear. You found direction. Your teams got closer. You delivered quality work. That's the part we care about most. We quantified the misalignment everybody accepts as normal, and now it doesn't have to cost.

There is a concept in Japanese martial philosophy called sen-no-sen (先の先). Acting at the moment intention appears, before the problem needs fixing.

So that's Sen.

Who Sen is For

Sen was first built for agencies, studios, and creative teams running client work. If you've ever lost a week to conflicting feedback or watched a project stretch across rounds because direction was never locked in, this was built with you in mind.

This doesn't just happen in agencies. It exists anywhere direction is shaped by more than one person. Startups, product teams, venture studios, research groups. Anywhere feedback moves through multiple perspectives before execution begins.

When direction is shared, it can drift. When it drifts, someone absorbs the cost. Sen is built for the teams that want that cost resolved before the work starts.

Where This is Going

Right now, Sen handles round-based feedback and conflict resolution. Over time, it moves deeper into how teams operate internally, building on every decision so context isn't lost and the same conversations don't keep repeating.

It sits underneath project management and the feedback, making the tools you already use work better by resolving the decisions they leave open.
